Welcome to my website, where you can find all things musical theatre! My name is Hunter Lindner, and this is ChiTheatreTeach. I'm a theatre artist based in the city of Chicago. I've been doing theatre since I was 5 years old, and as my mom was a voice teacher, The Sound of Music flowed through my house, almost daily. I had the honor and privilege of having a mother who deeply cared about enriching our lives, so she helped run a thriving musical theatre camp for kids and teens. There, I learned to hone my craft of acting, singing, and dancing, but most importantly, I learned how to contribute to a community and collaborate toward a common goal.

 

After graduating with a theatre degree from North Central College, I jumped headfirst into my acting career, but my true love was teaching my passion to the next generation of artists. With over 15 years in educational theatre, I've directed 19 youth musicals, from Hairspray to Grease to Into the Woods. As a director, I shape narratives, bringing actors and audiences on unforgettable journeys. As a teaching artist, I instill a love for the art form while shaping minds. As an actor, I bring characters I love to life and tell stories that connect people. Join me as I create theatre and uplift our communities in the heart of the Windy City! I'd love to connect!
